CASINO STEEL

Discography

He was a former member of the legendary, London-based The Hollywood Brats.
Their album ”Grown Up Wrong” is by many considered the most influential and important rock-album of the early 70’s. Without whom….etc.

He was also a member of The Boys, by many considered The Beatles of Punk, because of their catchy songs and clever harmonies.

He had a brief guest-appearance with The Ramones, before topping the charts in Scandinavia with his compadre Gary Holton. They received several awards and gold/platinum-albums, before Holton tragically died in 1985.

Casino won a Norwegian Grammy with the country-trio Claudia/Big Hand/Casino, after which Claudia (Scott) & Casino formed CCCP together with Carlene Carter and John Payne. Scott&Steel recorded an album together, before splitting up to do solo-careers.

Casino did his first solo-album in LA, with a little help from his friends Andrew Matheson and Ian McLagan. He then went on to record an album with ace guitar-players Mick Ronson & Marius Müller.

He co-produced Andrew Matheson’s highly acclaimed Cd ”Night of the Bastard Moon”, before joining Ian Hunter in Abbey Road for his ”Dirty Laundry”- project.

He was heavily involved with artists organizations for ten years, and is currently working with several projects for digital distribution of entertainment products.

His album ”V.S.O.P.” was released Nov. 2000, after which he toured with “Diesel Dahl” and The Gringo Starrs.
He is still recording and playing concerts with The Boys, and his new solo-album “There’s A Tear In My Beer” is now due for release.
